Creative garden lighting is all about garden lighting effects Making a
stunning night time garden without seeing the lights or them being intrusive
either by night and if possible by day.
Good garden lighting depends upon correct positioning of all your garden
lights, and selecting the correct lamp (bulb) type, wattage and beam angle,
Except where they are chosen specifically to make a design statement, outdoor
lights should be hidden or camouflaged wherever possible, so look for garden
lights that can be recessed, small or in a finish and colour that blends in
with the garden surroundings and hard landscaping areas.
Lampposts can be used in the garden for great lighting effect; nearly all of
our lampposts are made from chromate-treated cast aluminium so this means more
robust and harder wearing. We offer lots of different styles and finishes and
most of our lampposts come with a 5 year and some as high as 25 year anti
corrosion guarantee.
Wall Lanterns
Our wonderful range of lanterns gives you a wide choice for selection from
Modern Stainless Steel to Victorian Coach Lanterns. All have been selected
from the best quality manufacturers to meet our high standards, many are able
to accept low energy bulbs and LED lamps making huge savings to your running
costs as well as making your home more secure.
Decking Lights
Decking lights help create a mood providing subtle ambient lighting, and are
particularly useful as marker lights around the edge of a deck or on steps.
All of our decking lights are easy to install, and are very robust. Most of
our deck lights come complete with LED lamps and colours of your choice. A
good selection of LED Decking lights can be viewed on one of our suppliers web
sites
Collingwood LED Lighting.
Spot lights
Spot lights are used for highlights by directing an intense beam of light onto
an object or garden feature best used with a mix of other lights to reduce
glare. Our spotlights are very hard wearing and made from high grade materials
such as aluminium stainless steel and some are even submersible.
Lighting Bollards
Bollards are usually used to reflect light to illuminate the surrounding
landscape. All of our bollards are constructed of the best quality materials
like tubular aluminium and stainless steel, castings precision-machined to a
high quality finish to suit the most prestigious locations.

General Information
It is important to understand the rating by which Garden and Outdoor lights
are classified. IP rating stands for ‘Ingress Protection’ and is always
followed by two characters. The first of these two numbers refer to level of
protection from foreign bodies entering the fitting. The second of the two
numbers is the protection against water ingress, the higher the numbers the
higher the protection. It is important that you choose fittings with the
correct rating according to where they are to be installed within the
garden or outdoor area. For more information on IP Ratings please
