WARNING: the glass and bezel of the luminaire when used with some types of lamps can reach up to 80 degrees Centigrade in certain conditions. . We recommend the use of LED Bulbs as these are cooler running than conventional bulbs whilst giving a longer service life and lower running costs.
Care must be taken on positioning units in areas of foot traffic, children etc. If glass is cracked or damaged – Isolate supply DO NOT USE. Refer to your supplier for replacement Glass / bezel.
If installing the EMCO UG65 fittings into concrete, it is recommended that a tapered plug is set into concrete which can be removed to allow luminaire to be positioned in either sharp sand or a very weak sand / cement mix to allow removal. If they are to be permanently fixed in concrete it is imperative that the sealing face of the body is 1-2mm above finished surface to allow correct mating of surfaces.
